“My co-workers are great!  I enjoy working with the kids, playing games and having conversations.  My favorite thing to do is setting up the computers.  I love working with computers.  The kids and the program are doing well!”

“I like doing gym activities with the kids and watching them do handstands.  I like to teach them how to do lay-ups on the basketball court.  One thing I learned is that I need to be more clear with my expectations for the kids when I work with them.”

“I like teaching the kids to play basketball and whiffle ball.  They really know how to hit a ball.  I need to be a bit more clear in giving them directions.  You have to be really explicit when working with kids.”

I have learned how to use the carpet cleaner, it is amazing how dirty the floor is and how clean it looks after I use the carpet cleaner.

I didn’t realize how much maintenance people have to do.  There are so many small jobs that no one notices that make ‘big’ changes.

I am so thankful for this job!”

“Being outside is the best!  It’s peaceful being in the fresh air and hearing the noises the squirrels and birds make.  The weed-whacking is my favorite equipment to use!”

“I enjoy working outside, always moving, getting exercise.  It’s fun and there is always something to do.  Like weed eating, everything looks better when you are finished.  I learned how to weed eat without breaking a string by knowing how far the string needs to be let out to prevent it!”

“I like working outside and not being stuck indoors in the summer.  I also learned that when I’m on the job I need to talk less and stay focused on the job at hand!”
